At an extraordinary works council meeting held on 9 September, Fram’s management confirmed to employees that it was the offer made by the Chinese group HNA, associated with Selectour Afat, that held the rope. The proposal can, however, only succeed after a financial audit of acquisition requested by potential buyers.
The takeover of the struggling tour operator FRAM by the Chinese conglomerate HNA, supported by the group of travel agencies Selectour Afat, is taking shape. Despite a press release from the FRAM Management Board stating that «at this stage no binding offer has been signed by the shareholders», the launch of a financial audit of acquisition is a strong sign of the commitment of the sale process to the Chinese group.
