Paris, December 9, 2016 – TWINL, specialized in Acquisitions, Alliances, Evaluations, Fundraising, Financial Engineering and Business Transfers, announces the merger of PENTASONIC with the SCRIBA Group.
Mandated by the directors and shareholders of P44 (known as PENTASONIC), Twinl has just completed the sale of their company to the SCRIBA Group, which is characterized by a strong convergence of the business lines of these two digital companies with a very similar history and a true geographical complementarity.
PENTASONIC thus operates on three complementary business lines: consulting, infrastructure integration projects and managed services and the cloud and generates €10 million in turnover.
Established in Nantes since 1979, its clientele consists mainly of SMEs, local authorities and administrations in the Greater West Region.
For more than 30 years, SCRIBA has developed around trading and IT services (outsourcing, infrastructure engineering and cloud solutions).
By its position as a generalist, SCRIBA is the preferred partner of its customers for the maintenance and improvement of their information systems. Its clients are mainly SMEs and mid-caps that need support, responsiveness and proximity.
Beyond their businesses, SCRIBA and PENTASONIC share common values of service and proximity. The will of both entities is to capitalize on their know-how and develop synergies in order to bring more value to customers.
This enthusiastic and caring approach is driven by leaders :
Jérôme Faucher and Didier Comet (President and CEO of SCRIBA) :
“Scriba has set itself a growth objective, particularly external, dynamic but selective and reasoned.
Our meeting with PENTASONIC was obvious. We share the same human values, innovation and a sense of service.
This operation should allow our group to do more and better, for our customers and our teams; unlike a cost-saving operation.”
Gaël Brisson, CEO of PENTASONIC :
“This combination with SCRIBA is a tremendous development opportunity for PENTASONIC and its teams. The ability of PENTASONIC to benefit from an extended coverage while fully preserving the existing mode of operation favored this marriage. In addition to the superb business prospects, the values of SCRIBA and its managers have clearly seduced us for the attention to the future and the well-being of all employees.”
In practice, Scriba acquires 100% of the capital of PENTASONIC which remains an autonomous structure. PENTASONIC Groupe SCRIBA, continues to work in the region by continuing its recruitment initiated to support growth. A strong collaboration with the SCRIBA agency in Vannes has already begun.
SCRIBA and PENTASONIC have recorded strong growth over the past 10 years, with continued positive results, enabling them to post an overall turnover of €38 million for 2016 for 160 employees.
This is a new page full of promises that opens for both companies.
For Gaël Brisson, CEO of PENTASONIC :
“Having already experienced the TWINL method as a buyer, we decided to trust the firm on this operation, this time as a seller. Their method is proven with a good team to apply it. We are very satisfied with the outcome of the operation with a company and a project that fully meet our original expectations.”
The TWINL team ensured the overall management of the sale process: approach of market players in France, discussions and negotiation of agreements with the selected Group until the closing in early December 2016.
