Mandated by the founder and director for more than 15 years of PlanetWork, Arnaud Gautier, TwinL has just concluded this transaction of sale of its company to Serveurcom which with this acquisition, strengthens its position on the market, by integrating Planet-Work’s managed hosting services into its historical Internet access and unified communications offerings, which is now the Group’s Cloud Division.
For Serveurcom, a global telecommunications operator dedicated to businesses and local authorities, this acquisition aims to respond to a strong demand from the market of professionals, today very many to wish to have, from the same operator, a fully integrated offering combining unified communications services with advanced managed hosting solutions.
In just over 10 years, Serveurcom has established itself in this highly competitive market by investing in its teams and the best technologies to build complete fixed and mobile telephony, Internet access and unified communications offers.
For Damien Watine, founder and CEO of Serveurcom, the acquisition of Planet-Work sounded obvious: «directly or via our network of partners, the requests of our customers, related to hosting solutions are daily,» he explains.
Within Serveurcom, the Planet-Work brand will be retained and dedicated to web hosting solutions, while Arnaud Gautier, CEO and historical founder of Planet-Work, takes over the Strategy and Development of the new division thus created.

In this growing web hosting market, Serveurcom will apply the same methods as for telephony: «a technical know-how of course, brought in this case by the teams of Planet-Work, but also the simplicity of management of the sales processes for our partners, via our one-stop shop», details Damien Watine.
‘I had contacted two other investment banks, one smaller and another more important structurally speaking. The choice was quickly made to TWINL because of their experience and reputation in the IT field. Their clear, reassuring and effective methodology was also a very differentiating element.
The mission went perfectly and I was even surprised by the quality of TWINL’s understanding of my hosting business and the thorough analysis of the accounting and financial management of my company. The valuation calculated at the beginning of the mission by TWINL proved correct since we reached the top of the announced range.
As for the deadlines, the investment bank TWINL had announced me a sale for the beginning of September 2017 and I must admit that having finally sold my company on September 22, 2017 it is difficult to tell them that the announced deadline was too ambitious.
After competing with several prospective buyers, my company was finally acquired by a group that I did not know when the Mission was launched. It can therefore be said that TWINL gave me complete satisfaction, all the more so because I now hold a management position within the group in question.”
