Founded in 1962, the Zannier group – renamed Kidiliz in 2016 – has a portfolio of 15 brands including Catimini, Z, Absorba, Chipie or Lili Gaufrette and presents itself as the European leader in “premium” fashion for children. It has more than 11,000 points of sale, including 830 stores in the world, and markets 40 million pieces each year in 80 countries.
With a combined turnover of around €2 billion, the merger between the two groups creates the world’s second-largest dedicated to children’s fashion. The Semir Group acquires the entire Kidiliz Group, with the support of its management.
This operation should allow Kidiliz Group “to accelerate its presence in China, by having in this country the support, control, and quality of execution (…) of its new shareholder”, stressed the document.
