Sale of PACK ALIM to the Belgian Group P. VAN DE VELDE

Paris, 29 November 2018 – TwinL, specialized in Acquisitions, Evaluations, Financial Engineering and Business Disposals, announces the sale of PACK ALIM to the Belgian group P.VAN DE VELDE.

The Belgian industrial group P. VAN DE VELDE created in 1945, specialized in multicoloured offset printing and packaging and printing, has acquired from its historical partners, the company PACK ALIM, creator of an innovative packaging concept, eco-designed and made in France. The acquisition of Pack Alim is the fifth acquisition made by the VAN DE VELDE Group in two years, which now has more than 400 employees at nine sites in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and now also in France.

PACK ALIM stands out for the very nature of its very specific production of eco-designed and recyclable packaging. The major market trend is inevitably the reduction of the use of plastic in packaging and a significant increase in the recyclability of products. The organization of society is a «liberal» business model that revolves around true values of authenticity and autonomy.

The P. VAN DE VELDE Group has the advantage of offering everything that PACK ALIM lacked and allowing it to participate in a strategy of coherence of many complementary companies that will naturally develop through interdependencies through offers on market segments quite close. The sustainability of jobs is also assured because it is the first French location of the P. VAN DE VELDE Group that wishes to invest on the site.”
