The French company, which develops and markets non-invasive therapeutic medical devices for the treatment of glaucoma, is raising significant funds and is opening up the huge Chinese market.
Founded in 2008, Eye Tech Care employs around 30 people. It has developed EyeOP1, an innovative medical device that offers a simple, non-invasive solution to treat glaucoma with ultrasound.
For the company specializing in the development and commercialization of non-invasive therapeutic medical devices for the treatment of glaucoma, China is a key market. 22 million people have this eye disease, or 28% of patients worldwide. This funding is an important step in the company’s development,’ said Mr Dietrich Wolf, President of EyeTechCare.
The company will also benefit from Everpine Capital’s presence in China to continue the registration procedures initiated in 2015.
